MashAllah brother your blog is very informative.
Assalamu alaikum brother Muhammad, Jazakumullahu khairan for letting me know about the Hayatus Sahabah blog. I've added it to my links.
Wasalaam.
Assalamu alaikum
Has the respected Shaykh spoken about the Ummayad dynasty. A work colleague mentioned he had in great detail many years ago at the Birmingham Central Mosque. Do you know?
is this true?
If so what lesson / how can i listen to this topic?
Jazakallah
Assalamu alaikum brother Abid, The Shaykh spoke recently about the Ummayids in one of the Book of Hajj lessons - Lesson 221. You can listen to it by purchasing the MP3 download from Al Kawthar or via the Bukhari podcast; http://www.alkawtharacademy.com/store/viewProduct.php?product=AKATT-MP3-221
I will try and find older references for you.
Jazakumullahu khairan.

I asked a friend who says that the lessons you are referring to are Lesson 32 and 34:

Jazakumullahu khairan.
Thank you for speaking to your friend and finding that information for me my brother.
I shall endeavour to listen to them tomorrow.
I'll speak to my work colleague however he doesn't say much / give much away. I think he studied / attended lots of the courses and talks as he directed me here.
Assalamu alaikum my brother
Thank you so much for that information. Sorry it's taken me so long. My (not so) Smart car has no cassette player so i had to find one around the house. And that meant i could only listen at home. Finally i have and it contained all the information i needed as well as some on the companion Abu Hurraira (ra).
Thank you once again.
Abid
